And WE: the royal we, are stuck in the middle of our current existence and perception of reality that others have configured for us.

Celebrating Isolation on La Lune.

On the 51st anniversary of the moon landing, Americans were watching collectively as our nation slipped further into madness. This piece captures the isolation of social distancing and quarantining within small confined spaces, very similar to that space of the LEM (lunar excursion module.) To experience human connection on a grand scale, within claustrophobic spaces is a journey we have all taken in 2020.

Our displaced time, dance parties at home, relentless watching of news media, riots, protests, deaths, pandemic, truth, lies; for the first time we have had a truly collective experience, wherein our perceptions were drastically different.

Claustrophobia, Madness, Duality, Human Connection, and trying to keep up appearances. All seen through the porthole of our little spaceship. The black mirror of society, functioning as our protector, our entertainer, and our ultimate machine.
